Phil's focus for students in the classroom is individualised. Phil champions differentiation, particularly in Mathematics, and is committed to working with students on understanding their individual progress and being able to articulate what they require for their individual next step. Phil has played a pivotal role in the Literacy journey at St Michael's and has been a vocal advocate in the explicit teaching of literacy demands within Mathematics and Science.
