​​​What an absolute pleasure it was to launch our first ever Netball competition this year​ - the "St Michael's College Primary Schools Cup"! This competition saw our budding, young netball enthusiasts from our local primary schools (years 5 & 6), come together to compete in a fun and friendly netball gala day. It was fantastic to see the enthusiasm, skills and spirit of these young players and thank you to all the schools who competed.

Congratulations to A.B. Paterson College who were the winners of the St Michael's Primary Schools Cup, taking home the prize money of $1,000 in HART sport gift vouchers! In addition, our top 4 schools received a $300 HART sports voucher, as well as a best and fairest trophy awarded to a player in their team. We would love to thank all our staff and our QISSN netball players who not only helped warm up our players with the 'macarena' and the 'nut bush', but refereed the games and were there supporting our young netballers throughout the day.

This competition is set to grow, and we would love to invite more of our local primary schools to enter the St Michael's Primary School Cup next year!

We are also proud to offer the St Michael's College Netball Excellence Program to students that have a genuine interest and desire to improve their skills and game play in netball. Students have the option to choose a “netball focus” Health and Physical Education class. This is an opportunity to develop a higher understanding of the game and receive tailored feedback from experienced quality coaches to improve students’ individual performances.​
