This is achieved by offering a wide variety of sporting pursuits in both competitive and social environments. The college takes pride in its achievements and boasts State and National champions and competitors at International competitions.All students participate in inter-house competitions in Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics. (Please see links for results in these areas). Students have the opportunity to participate at a higher level with competitors reaching their potential at Independant District, South Coast Regional, Championships, National and Pacific School Games endeavours. In addition, our sporting calendar enables all students to participate in the Association of Gold Coast Colleges Competition during Terms 1, 2 and 3. Students choose from a variety of sports and can represent the school in the following:
In Term 4 our students have the more relaxed job of participating in recreational pursuits. These choices range from Rock Climbing, Ten Pin Bowling, Yoga, Rowing, Self Defence, Scuba Diving, Ice Skating and Beach Volleyball.
Our elite athletes also have the opportunity to represent the College at a higher level in their chosen sport. Students can represent the Hinterland District and then go on to represent the South Coast and Queensland at further championships. Students represent the College each year in Rugby Leage Confraternity Tournaments, South East Queensland and All School Touch Football Championships, Bill Turner Cup Soccer, QISSN, Vicki Wilson Cup, National Track and Field knockouts and various other sporting endeavours.
