ACADEMIC REPORTS

Student reports are issued 3 times per year (except Year 12s receive their final report from the Queensland Studies Authority in late December). The timing of the reports is end of Term 1, end of Semester 1 and end of Semester 2. All academic subjects are reported on an A to E scaling, and parents are provided with information to enable them to compare how their individual student performed in a subject with the cohort performance in the subject. Subjects with fewer than 15 students do not have cohort performance data published. In the senior school, certificate courses are reported in terms of the competencies achieved; no comparison data is issued.

Year 9 NAPLAN test reports are received by the College in mid-September and checked and then forwarded to parents in Week 1 of Term 4.

PARENT TEACHER INTERVIEWS

Parents are able to make interviews with teachers at a mutually agreeable time by contacting the teacher directly by email or phone. Parent/Teacher/Student interview evenings are held for each cohort twice per year. The first round of interviews is shortly after the issue of the Term 1 report; the second round of interviews is early in Semester 2. Bookings are made using the online booking system address which can be accessed by clicking below https://bookings.parentteacheronline.com.au?school+xp7n9

Year 8 parents and students are able to meet their teachers in the few weeks of Term 1 at a Welcome Gathering held on the evening after our Opening Mass.
