St Michael's College is fortunate to have a wide range of high quality facilities available on campus for both curriculum and extra-curricular activities.
These facilities include:
Situated on the highest point on the grounds with magnificent views to the high rises of Surfers Paradise is the College Chapel. Being set away from the hustle and bustle of every day school activities, the chapel preserves a sense of peace and tranquillity.
Each Wednesday morning at 8.15am, during term time, there is a celebration of mass or special prayers. Each pastoral group has the opportunity on a rotational basis to lead the reading of prayers and scripture once per year.
Religious education classes use the chapel for special prayers and often for meditation.
As the College has grown, the chapel has become a multi- purpose space with meetings and other gatherings also happening at times. The College banner and house banners and portraits of each of our house patrons are displayed in the chapel and form the back drop to the central focus, which is the altar.
